Directions from Auckland to Russell car ferry:
Travel north along State Highway 1 from Auckland to Kawakawa. (3.30 hours)
Continue north along State Highway 11 from Kawakawa to the sea port of Opua. (15 minutes)
Cross from Opua to Okiato on the car ferry. This is a 15 minute crossing that operates continuously between 6.40am and 10.00pm. You can pay on boarding with cash payments only as electronic payment facilities are not available.
Directions from Russell car ferry to Pukematu Lodge:
Exit the car ferry at Okiato and travel towards Russell for approximately 10km.
Continue into the main township traveling north along York Street past the oldest church in NZ.
Proceed straight ahead onto Flagstaff Road and up Flagstaff Road Hill. At the top of this hill turn right into the Pukematu entrance past the stone pillars and the lodge is a short distance on your right.
For your convenience a direct dial telephone is located at the front door.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation within 30 days of arrival 50% forfeit of the total booking price.
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival 100% forfeit of the total booking price.
Credit Card Policy:
For all credit card payments a 3% surcharge will be applied to all accounts.
